Од септембра 1944. године до фебруара 1945. партизани су стрељали чак 59.554 грађанина Србије. Толико их је пописано, а верује се да је тај број и много већи.

Шта показује документација Озне, како су се после рата губиле главе без судске пресуде, ко је наредио масовна стрељања, колико је необележених гробница у Србији, само су нека од питања на која су у „Јутру“ одговарали историчари Срђан Цветковић из Института за савремену историју и Дејан Ристић.
На више од 200 локација налазе се гробнице са готово више од 60.000 стрељаних, убијени су за само четири месеца без судске пресуде.
„Овде је реч о пописаним људима који су убијени на различите начине у времену после 12. септембра 1944. године. Њих 33.000 су ликвидирани без икаквог суда. Њих је убила служба безбедности. Овде се говори само о пописаним људима, остатак је страдао што судским пресудама, што по логорима. Пре свега се ради о цивилима, фолксдојчерима…“, рекао је Цветковић.
Kаже да документација није комплетна и да на пример, недостаје она за град Београд о броју убијених.
На питање да ли је Јосип Броз Тито наредио убијања без судске пресуде, Ристић је рекао:
„Уколико тражимо документ са Титовим потписом који наређује масовно стрељање, таквог документа нема, нити би он тако нешто потписао“.
